Solviva - Rancho Palos Verdes

Relaxing. A perfect escape from the noisy restaurants at the resort. I much prefer this place when I want to have a pleasant conversation with my companions.

Solviva offers a top-notch dining experience in all areas - atmosphere, customer service, food quality, and taste. I chose Solviva for my brother-in-law's birthday lunch and was extremely pleased. While some have mentioned portion sizes, we found them to be just right - enough to satisfy without feeling overly full. The food is exceptional, and I have a discerning palate due to my son being a chef. I highly recommend this spot, but also want to keep it a hidden gem to prevent it from becoming too commercialized. I love this place - one of the best in Palos Verdes.

The food, service, experience, and atmosphere at this restaurant were fantastic!!! However, I am a tough critic, so I will give it 4 stars.

Food is good. Portions are tiny. I was quite annoyed that we were told that children couldn’t be sat at outdoor tables, so we were forced to sit inside. Then I saw they subsequently sat 5 tables all with children outside. I guess maybe just my kid? Seems quite a bit inconsistent.

Setting is stunning-outside by the pool overlooking the ocean. Clean, fresh food-smaller portions. It was great!
