We went after church on Sunday. Our chicken was dry, the dressing glorified Stove Top, and the beans cooked from dry limas which had no flavor. The dessert was a joke. While three were offered, only donuts were readily available. There was no “cooks special” and only one serving of peach cobbler available which was the crummiest I ever had: one peach slice and all Bisquick dough! This at 11:45 am in Sunday! (Our church releases around 11:30). We will not return; a waste of our money for sure!
Awesome atmosphere and my prime rib was awesome. We will be coming back.
This restaurant reaches into the nostalgic atmosphere of your grandma’s kitchen. With the impeccable waitresses such as Mary and Parker, it makes you feel like not a restaurant customer but a family member. The food here is always unique and flavorful with a changing menu to always leave you curious of what could be your next soulful meal.
My husband and I were going to eat there today but we walked out. We sat there and we wasn't even acknowledged. A couple came in 5 minutes after we did and they got their drink order taken right away. That's when we walked out. I know some people that stopped going there because of the lack of service also. We will not be going back. It's not the first time we had that experience there.
