The lady behind the counter is beyond rude and told me that I couldn't use a gift card on the weekend because the manager was not there? Not sure what happened to this place.
I went to the restaurant yesterday to pick up lunch for my family. I spent a significant amount of money on sandwiches. When I reached the register, I also asked for two cookies from the bakery. The cashier quickly rang me up and went to get the cookies. When she stepped away, I realized that I was charged $22 for two small smiley cookies. She started yelling at me from across the store, insisting that I needed to swipe my card to complete the transaction. I politely pointed out that she had overcharged me, asking why the cookies were $22. She came over, made a strange face, and tried to deflect the blame onto me. It seemed as though she was trying to suggest I was ridiculous for questioning the exorbitant charge for cookies. She eventually corrected the mistake but only gave me one cookie, despite charging me for two. The whole experience was odd and embarrassing. I am hesitant to return and spend $50 on lunch. It's a shame because the food is decent.
Everything here is overpriced and not really so great. Can't say for sure but Im suspicious the rotisserie chickens are from the Acme across the street. They taste and look the same. The meat department uses skewers with the prices that they stick directly into the meat and move them from one piece to another. A great way to transfer bacteria into the center of the meat that will be much harder to kill by cooking. Poor hygiene. Don't understand why a food store doesn't know better. Years ago I used to get rotisserie chickens from them. They gave me a card that they punched, and I was told that after I bought 10 chickens, I'd get a free one, but when I reached the 10 they told me Inwould only get one dollar off. Maybe two dollars, but not what they told me.
We recently had lunch at Burrini's Market in Randolph, NJ and it felt like stepping into a charming Italian village all under one roof. Following a recommendation, we tried the deli and enjoyed the Italian Supreme and Charlie's Champ sandwiches. We even joined Burrini's Sandwich Club! On our way out, we couldn't resist picking up some cupcakes and cannolis from the bakery section. It was a delicious experience that we can't wait to repeat. #BigDudesBigFoods #CelebrateEveryDay #foodies #foodiesofinstagram #globaleats #shenanigans #BDBFCertified #cheatday #cheatmeal #ThePhoneEatsFirst #WOYP #Forkyeahfoodies #BDBF @forkyeahfoodies #ClearEyesFullBelliesCantLose
Unhappy, badly trained employees. Guy behind meat counter was unresponsive. Everyone there seems bothered by something. Prepared food is average at best. I prefer Corrado's much better.
