An old favourite. Good solid Chinese meals. Nothing fancy but Grandma's will always agree to come with us to dinner. Drinks at Bowls Club prices and always happy for you to bring your own birthday cake.

Nothing like Chinese at a bowling club. Great atmosphere at Randwick Bowlo. The Shiny Shovel is a yummy Chinese situated at one end of the club. Great food, fantastic service at a very reasonable price!

Honestly, the food at this restaurant was the worst I have had in a long time. None of the 8 of us could finish our meals because they were so bad. I feel ashamed that we didn't speak up and address the issue with the staff.

The chicken cashew nuts and the pork chow mein were very disappointing. The noodles were undercooked, the meat had a strange texture, and the sauce was overly oily. The dish was so unappetizing that none of the 7 of us enjoyed it. When we complained, the staff told us that customers don't usually complain about that dish, but why is it still on the menu if it's not good?
