Parkside Main - Rangeley

The waiters/waitresses couldn’t be more perfect! The food is very good, but the portions keep getting smaller and smaller. The prices are expensive. We don’t care how much it is if it’s good and the portions are good. We’ve been going for years and this year they do not give you bread anymore more some lame excuse and the portions are so small. What a shame! Service: Dine in

Very rude wait staff. I actually called a couple days ahead and was told they could take a large party but no reservations and first come first serve and they opened at Noon so we drove 2 hrs to get there and when we got there we got turned away because of a large party and they couldn’t figure out how to split up the bill. Highly disappointed and recommend people to not go there. So many other places in Rangley to choose from that want the business. Saddleback Mountain Pub treated us awesome, had great food and had no issues with the size of our party and how we paid. After saying on the phone they would do couples checks, and changing their mind when we tried to confirm with the waitress , we were told only one check for the party and split the entire bill equally if we gave cards. When we asked to just be split by tabletops a 3,a4and two six tops, at first she said ok but the food would not come out together which we said was no issue at all . Then she returned again and said one check, or our option was just to leave?? What business turns away 19 meals so they don't process 10 cards? If we had not called days before ahead it would have been one thing. All that business will also not return or refer. Train your help with the correct answers on the phone or back them up management.

I've visited this restaurant multiple times, and each time we've managed to avoid the rush. For my recent visit, we dined in for lunch. The price per person was between $10 and $20. I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5, the service also a 5, and the atmosphere another 5. Overall, a fantastic experience!

This restaurant consistently delivers delicious food, from a fantastic beet and feta salad to fish and chips made with haddock, and a wonderful New England clam chowder packed with clams—well-seasoned and not excessively thick. The casual setting, featuring a back deck that overlooks Rangeley Lake, makes it a spot I return to frequently and highly recommend. I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, and the staff was friendly, though they seemed quite busy. One of the highlights was the breathtaking sunset views from the deck. For my dinner, the price per person was between $20 and $30. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5.
