Boss' Pizza Chicken - Rapid City

I wish there were two things we had more of post-pandemic. Firstly, restaurants that stay open later or 24 hours, like Boss which stays open late and I am very happy about that. Secondly, good quality food like what Boss provides. The pizza I had was one of the best in its style (see picture). It was delicious and I highly recommend it.

I tried a unique pizza with paprika on it and loved it. My sister got a simple pepperoni pizza with extra cheese that was very cheesy. The service was quick and impressive, the food was beautiful and hot, which isn't common for Rapid City. The restaurant is a bit upscale but still delicious.

We were disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. We were not informed that there was only one type of crust available and we were not asked what size pizza we wanted. The breadsticks were lackluster and did not come with pizza sauce. When I called to address our concerns, I had to persuade them to rectify the situation. The server seemed uninterested and we felt unwelcome. This was our first visit and we do not plan to return. The staff could benefit from more training. Considering the high price we paid, we could have gotten a better quality pizza and breadsticks at a cheaper chain restaurant. While I am generally reluctant to leave negative reviews, I believe there is significant room for improvement at this establishment.

This is literally the forth time I ordered a taco pizza and it was screwed. I even wrote in details plus I clicked on her boxes as we wanted to jump in. not even right. $60 away....again guess our own fault for once again try!

Boss’s is the best pizza in town. The Founding Father is one of our favorite specialty pizzas, but you can’t go wrong with any of their selection. Hubby and I usually do pick up, but the other night we decided to stay in and get delivery. Boss’s still exceeded expectations with excellent service and friendly attitudes from both the person taking my order to the delivery man, and the food was delivered in the expected time frame.
