Feedback gevenI visited the restaurant on its opening day (September 14, 2017) and took an evening tour. There were plenty of grab-and-go food options, and some were even quite healthy. However, the selection of food and grocery items was limited. The beer cave was impressive, featuring a wide variety of sizes, craft beers, and a decent selection of wines. The automotive section was also lacking in options, so the Bonfire Grill should provide a nice change in that regard. I'll provide an update after I try the food and assess the service.
I visit this place frequently. Sometimes the gas is excellent, but other times I experience terrible mileage, even when driving fewer miles than before. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there’s a good variety of options available. I've noticed several negative reviews for this location, but I suspect that many of those reviewers might be the type who complain about everything while expecting something for free. If you live around here, you understand what I mean.
The store itself is nice, but the woman at the register seemed extremely upset. I had trouble hearing her because she was wearing a mask and asked her to repeat what she said. Her response was incredibly rude: "I've already told you twice!" The service was definitely disappointing. Her name was Maria, and I certainly won’t be returning to this gas station. I do not recommend it.
I spend so much money in this gas station! I ALWAYS go there!! I KNOW they know who I am, but the rude security guard is literally following me all over the place and finally comes and taps me and says ?hey! You need to put your bag over by the door! You can?t carry it in here!? Are you kidding me? Ridiculous!!!!! What kind of store makes you put your bag by the door? I will NEVER go in there again. That security guard needs to learn to be more friendly and professional.
I had a good experience yesterday. I stopped by for a coke and the cashier notice the color of the drink looked different. She took the time to check the machine and got it charged so I could get a fully charged drink. Thank you to the staff of the Maverick for such thoughtful service!
