We stopped on our way to Colorado. It is a bar/restaurant located in an old historic building. Because it was mid afternoon, it was pretty quiet. The beer was good and so was the food! We had the brisket, which was delicious, and I also liked the mashed sweet potatoes. We will definitely return if we're in the area again. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
This is a nice spot with friendly atmosphere—folks were having fun with some Tuesday night trivia while I was there. The Green Chile Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was excellent—bread was just right, and the steak was top-notch and seemed super-fresh! It's among the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had, and not something I expected to find out west, so I recommend trying it if you're in the area! The onion rings were just right, too. Full onion rings—nothing minced here—breaded thick enough they didn't fall apart or crumble, but also not overly greasy or anything. Parking: Parking seems to be along the surrounding streets. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Not sure Parking options: Free street parking
