Bird-in-hand Bakery Cafe - Rawlinsville

This is not at all the best example of Amish baked goods. Everything here seems old. The whoopie pies are so dry and stale. Everything else I've gotten there is also disappointing. I remember a long time ago when they didn't have the fancy building on Old Philadelphia Pike and just sold in the Bird and Hand market and they were good.

Stopped in for a bite for breakfast, very nice and clean lots of things to see there. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the cost was $7.95 . Much to my surprise I received half of a breakfast sandwich. Was very good but very disappointed in a half of sandwich ? I ordered a breakfast sandwich not a half of breakfast sandwich. Was not worth spending almost $8 on thatHard pass never again. Do better please. I can't be the first ever to say this about that . ?

Clean, good food, good service, did not have waiter, but was quick for a good sandwich

We had the Chicken Caprese (Delicious) and the Grilled bacon cheese Sandwich (2 outing 4 rating). The ice-cream is amazing, Creamy and large portions for your money.. Donuts are moist and jam packed with flavor.. Will be back for more deliciousness...

We were staying at the Family Inn on a Monday when their restaurant is closed, so we walked over to the bakery for breakfast. It was extremely busy with few places to sit while waiting for our order. More seating was available upstairs, but due to my mobility issues, it would be difficult for me to manage the stairs carrying a tray. As a result, we opted for take out enjoyed our breakfast back at the inn. Everything was good we went back the following day to buy cookies. My only complaint is that there is not more seating downstairs.
