I would suggest booking a table in advance as it can fill up quickly and is popular with locals (open 4 days per week). The "Clay pot lamb biryani" is a must-try dish, as well as the "Bhuna venison" and the "John's mixed basket of Paratha". The service was outstanding and the owner/cook was welcoming to customers after their meal, a nice gesture.
What a beautiful place! such unique aromas and dishes, but all seasoned and warm that they are used by Indian cuisine. we went for the pork bell, fried chili, cramped and chickened. the pork bell was sweet and aromatic and very good, but the winner were the fried chili. such a unique dish never had such a thing! for the net we had village style lamb in a tonpot and discreet. both absolutely beautiful on their own wise, the lamb was rich and serene, the slices was creamy and aromatic. nothing was disappointing!
Nice eating, great staff. little disappointed with the lamb tonpot biryani, it lacked taste. the rest was great.

We enjoy Indian eating from traditional curry houses through the michelin stared restaurants in london. since the order on reading, we have tried to find something until we tried clays on recommendation. it must be one of the best Indian restaurants in the country. the quality of the ingredients and the way they are treated mean that the aromes are so powerful and refined. the menu reads quite unusual, but the aromen are very familiar. Finally, the service was simply excellent from the entire team. highly recommended!
