Tasting House - Reading

A great place for exclusive weine and charcuterie. the employees are attentive and very helpful, i.e. always like to suggest a wein on the basis of their needs. the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. finally a great wine house in the city. I would also recommend tasting events.

Really enjoyed our time in there... Learned a lot and found our white go to wine .. Joined the wine club and already excited to get our delivery in December .. Can 't wait for the perfect gins all all can 't recommend it enough..

I love this place. We come every once in a while and it's always delicious. If you are fond of wine, they have a large variety of it. They also have incredible pastries and the best coffee in Reading. I would particularly recommend the lemon drizzle.

Bench Rest at the tasting house. Consistently superb! Beautiful brunch, the best I've ever had. I brought a friend visiting here and now she only wants to visit me so she can eat brunch here! Soft fluffy eggs, amazing fresh sourdough, amazing coffee. I have eaten brunch all around the world but this has to be my favourite!

Wonderful little tardis of an independent wine shop that also serves charcuterie savoury snacks, all the better to accompany the great selection of wines that can be sampled via the prepay card wine machines downstairs. Upstairs provides extra space for the hosted wine tasting sessions that are run throughout the year. Highly recommended, as much for the laid back atmosphere as the knowledgeable and helpful staff. *Update* due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, The Tasting House has gone a step further with its home deliveries we placed another order on Wednesday this week, and received it the same day (with the usual solid packaging, and this time some complementary beers inside the box).
