The Bridge - Reading

Here at the bridge are the colleagues and managers so inviting. eating is always top notch and a big standard. I am really “old school” and really appreciate real ale, and here the ipa is always a five star. sometimes I try the “Gäste-Ale” that is the perfect pint again and again. Top brands for the team on their waiter.

I’ve been several times to the bridge pub and the service was second to none, cant fault it. The food came very quickly and was delicious and the staff was very polite. A massive thank you to Jamie who works there who went out of her way to make sure me and my family were happy. Highly recommend

I used to go here years ago, but it went downhill and I didn’t feel comfortable in there. I’ve been back in recently and I love it! The food is great, service is quick yet friendly but the real star for this place is Jodi! She goes above and beyond for every single punter. Whether she’s in the kitchen by herself on a hectic day and comes out to apologise in person for any delay instead of getting someone else to pass on the message, or when she’s serving at the bar and makes a point of getting to know each and every customer whilst still getting through a swarm of people that’s five deep in a decent time, she does it with a smile and makes you feel that you’re truly valued as a customer. Honestly, I’m gutted when I come in and Jodi isn’t working. I feel that she would do so well in a training position, showing people how to treat everyone that steps foot in the pub.

Love coming here, nice family pub. Cracking bar staff, was served by a lovely young lady called Chloe. Great food and good atmosphere.

Fantastic pub. Great service, the girls that work here are all fantastic, and they do some great food also. Good for people who love a game of pool, nice tables. Would reccomend every time!
