Feedback gevenOn the waterfront at the Red Rock Marina, brand new building (2013) Usually has a daily special. Food is very good, reasonably prices. Very clean. Seats around 16-20, has an out door patio. Does not have deep fryer so no fried food
How hard is it to find a decent meal on the highway?! I can't say enough about our supper here. In my experience, it's hard to find "upscale" food along the northern highways...hard to find a clean washroom. Donna's is a little gem in this regard. The setting is nice, at the marina, along the water. The room is kind of bare, but clean and lots of wood and tile. Signage is not good but obviously a marina IS near the water so you can find it. The restaurant is at the back of the big building - the only one there, newish looking. The staff at Donna's (Jodie and Leah, I think) were fantastic...so friendly, so enthusiastic...they did everything but sing and dance. We had vegetarians among us so we opted for the Portobello burger with chive mayo and homegrown sprouts, which was fantastic and served so nicely. Sweet potato wedges. Another meal was a chicken and bacon burger, all ground up, also delicious. Coffee was generous, served in huge mugs, and their liquor licence wasn't quite ready, so no wine. (It should be there by now.) Donna's is well worth the 8 km hop off the highway. They will make you feel very welcome, the helpings will be generous, food fresh and innovative.
I would rate Bon-Ga a 4.5, but it definitely leans more towards a 5.
I was browsing Yelp for a place to eat and stumbled upon this restaurant with a 4-star rating. Intrigued, I decided to check it out.
The restaurant was busy on Christmas Day despite being short-staffed. However, they still managed to provide excellent service.
