El Gallo Giro - Red Bluff

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The hot sauce for the burrito was not good, and overall, the food was unappetizing. Coming from Colusa, where we have the best Mexican cuisine, I couldn’t even finish my meal here.

I had high expectations based on the other reviews, but my experience fell short. The tacos are no longer $2 as shown in the photos; they now cost $2.50. That wouldn’t be an issue if they weren't so small—definitely the tiniest tacos I've ever encountered. The filling was also lacking; while the al pastor had a decent amount, the carne asada was quite meager. To add to the disappointment, the carne asada was overly salty, and one piece was cooked blue-rare inside. So, my quest for a taco truck in Red Bluff that I'd want to visit again continues. On a positive note, the woman at the window was very friendly.

Great food! This business is close to my house I get lunch there at least twice a week. I like the pork burritos with extra lime and jalapeños

Fantastic tacos and mulitas.food came out fast and couldn't have been any better. They had the little touches like sautéed onions and jalapeños w the tacos and sour cream and shredded lettuce with the mulita. Loved it!
