Ramos Donut House - Red Bluff

This is the best apple fritter I've ever tasted! I live out of state, but I will definitely make a stop here the next time I'm driving on or off I-5 near Red Bluff.

We ordered three donuts: the Glazed Buttermilk Ball, Bear Claw, and Apple Fritter. The Glazed Buttermilk Ball is thick enough to provide a delightful change in texture as you eat it. It was delicious, and its thickness makes it easy to break into pieces. It was full of flavor. In the picture, you can see that we've already eaten two-thirds of it. The Bear Claw has a paw shape and features a small apple filling at the base of the paw—it's a fun and well-designed treat. The Apple Fritter was a classic choice and quite enjoyable as well.

I absolutely love Donut Shop! Even on Mother's Day, they had plenty of options available.

Nice staff and pretty good donuts. I liked drinking my mixed coffee.

Super friendly, super yummy Prices and availability of larger variety later in the day are a little better a little farther south at Kevin's, though....
