Sushi Maru Japanese - Red Deer

Sushi Maru has always been a great Japanese meal for a reasonable price. I LOVE the Seafood Yakisoba ! Don't look at the carpet( 0-stars /5) on the floor and you'll be o.k. Just my 2 bits !

Reaaaally good sushi! I was surprised Lacombe had a sushi place of this quality. Everything is fresh and delicious. The salamander roll is amazing! I also had the dynamite roll, which was giant (like how they do in down town Vancouver... I find dynamite rolls are different everywhere you go), salmon nigiri came with large pieces, the seaweed salad was fresh and light (not goopy), and the edamame was good. I've gone twice, with 4 different friens, and we've all enjoyed it! Take out or dine in, the service was great!

Delicious sushi! The Fall roll and Dynamite roll are my favourite. Great atmosphere; I've been here twice and each time the service was quick and the food was awesome. Highly recommend.

Such friendly service every time I go! The crazy California rolls are delicious. The staff have no problem explaining what is in each roll so I can try things I think I would like. I have never been disappointed!

The food was disappointing and has definitely declined since my last visit. The service was inadequate, with poor timing; some people at our table didn’t receive their meals until others were nearly finished. The servers were not attentive to our needs. The Oyakidon was mushy and bland, and it arrived late. The sushi and tempura were decent, but overall, I was left feeling disappointed.
