The temperature was something on the cool side, but did not really want to eat with our...winter oats. The dinner options were very limited. Three choices of steak, a chicken and a vegetarian dish. We chose the chicken and my husband also had soup as an appetizer. The soup tasted good, but it was very lukewarm. The chicken was juicy and well prepared, but the supplement was limited, a few potato wedges, a roasted carrot, beet and Brussels sprout. To dessert, my husband had a piece of cake that tasted like glue. My chocolate cake was excellent. Due to the COVID rules, a serving table was placed next to us, where the waitress gave up the food and we could transfer it to our table. A little exaggerated, please, if you ask me. We knew it was an expensive restaurant, but the quality did not live until this expectation. There was nothing on the menu for non-alcoholic drinks. Overall, the place has great potential, but either the price must come down or the quality must go up a few notches.
My husband and I had lunch here for our anniversary....it was our first visit to recommendation of a good friend. We were so impressed by the delicious food, the venue and the attentive service of Pamela! This is the perfect place for a special... You can sit inside or outside on the terrace. We recommend the burger and the cake. Thank you for a great experience., we will be back asap. Cheers. L
I love the farm to make the idea of tables and I love the food here. Service is always excellent. Everything I tried here was amazing.
Never before have we been quite sure where we wanted, but once you find the place, it's worth it! The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed with a touch of fine food. The staff was very friendly, and the food was... delicious. I would recommend the ginger carrot soup and the lobster avocado flatbread. Very unique!
My wife and I went to the west lake grill this evening with two other couples for dinner. We were quite surprised to see that it wasn’t busy given the CFR is going on right now… I was actually surprised I could get a reservation...on quite short notice but now I understand why. The new menus are quite shocking in my opinion. I’m not used to seeing hamburgers for over $30 and a steak for nearly $70. Based on the feedback at the table the food was about 50-50, some really enjoyed their‘s and some were just OK. I ordered the soup of the day, pumpkin, and it didn’t taste like pumpkin and it had so much salt in it that I had to send it back. The service was good and the setting is certainly nice but it is not a fine dining establishment, it is a beautiful rustic dining experience that is unbelievably expensive. I actually find it quite offensive for a small bowl of salad to cost $20. I hope they do fine with their repricing but I for one will not be going back.
