Exterior room we stayed in was quite small; bathroom small enough to discourage shower. A friend staying in interior room said theirs' was spacious, with balcony opened to hotel lobby. No refrigerator in our room, but staff put what we wanted refrigerated into hotel fridge. We had a delicious breakfast chosen from a broad menu.
This is supposedly a haunted hotel. Heard all kinds of stories about it they were very interesting. The breakfast was good. Had a hard time staying in the rooms though because they've been retrofitted for modern amenities. The ceilings were low and the HVAC system seem to be blowing musty air. The downstairs was super cool and it's worth a walk around. Wouldn't ever stay here again.
I would have most likely given this a five but for no follow up to my reservation-no one emailed or called. I had to call to confirm. Found out that there was No Breakfast on Wednesday. In fact Red Lodge Wednesday morning is pretty shut down so be aware. Carbon County Steakhouse a fave) was also closed Tuesday so ate at Hotel's place- Marli's. Had a pleasant meal. The bison meatball starter was delicious! Good cocktails and desserts and ambiance. My strip steak was delicious and cooked perfectly but needed trimming. We will come back but plan on later week stay.
An awesome historic hotel with many stories attached to it and maybe even some ghosts. I loved the whole experience and the staff are so friendly and helpful!
