Forget the football!!!!! Helen, Frankie, James and the rest of the team have created an ambience and spirit that is peerless. My wife and I have never encountered an establishment like this in any city, or indeed country, we have visited, and this includes our home city, Glasgow. The friendliness and kindness from the “Guvnor” Helen is astonishing, anybody reading this review should pop in and meet this remarkable lady. We have now returned to Glasgow, but when we return to London Jono’s is the first stop. Thank you for being included as regulars.
I visit this restaurant almost every evening. Helen, the manager, is amazing and carefully selects her staff. They are all efficient, friendly, and loyal. I enjoy the cozy atmosphere and being recognized by both the staff and other regulars. I never feel uncomfortable sitting at the bar alone while waiting for my partner to arrive later. While not primarily focused on real ales, they were featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2019, which speaks volumes. As a wine drinker, I appreciate their diverse selection of lagers and their reputation for serving a great pint of Guinness. I absolutely love this place.
This fantastic Irish pub is a popular spot in the local community, and is always bustling with customers, particularly on weekends and evenings. The bar staff are friendly and attentive, and they pour an excellent pint of Guinness.
The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with many locals in attendance. There was a football game playing, but it was not too loud to hinder conversation. The beer selection was great, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning in a few weeks because we had such a good time.
Beautiful place, beautiful people and good beer. U can feel really in one century ago. A little ray of England roots in a cosmopolitan neighborood
