Feedback gevenInitially, the customer service was impeccable with caring staff with a positive can do attitude towards customers. We were treated with utmost respect care and a positive attitude which made the atmosphere a comfortable place to be in. Regarding the food, it was simply amazing with a unique taste not in comparison to other shops. The person at the serving place was a young man who made us feel extremely comfortable and as a matter of fact we formed a friendship with him! It was a delight visiting shezan catering. -kanwal.
The food at this restaurant is really delicious and the staff is very respectful. They offer both takeaway and dining in options. The seating area is always clean and well-maintained. Despite the competition on Ilford Lane, I personally believe this shop is the best in terms of both taste and price. Overall, no disappointments so far.
Avoid this place. It is very unclean. The chaat vendor outside is unhygienic and appears to have mental health issues. I discovered a piece of rock in my chaat. The person operating the cash register has a similar attitude problem. It seems like they don't want to be running their own business and are unfriendly to customers. I was polite and friendly throughout my visit, but they took advantage of my kindness. Hopefully, a better shop will open up nearby to give them some competition and put them out of business.
The staff at the front food counter used abusive language and assumed I did not understand Punjabi. They were swearing at me, making it the worst experience I've ever had. I do not recommend this place. It is not a safe place for families to go to. Their insulting behavior disgusted me. I strongly advise staying away from this restaurant.
This is a v small no frills kind of place. They serve freshly fried fish (stall on street) and chick pea chaat (Pakistani street food) which is in high demand, the customers don’t stop coming. We ordered a lamb curry with naan and a biryani. All the food is really nice, though a bit spicy for my liking, this though doesnt stop me from going back. The staff are really friendly, but at times while serving you, they take multiple orders from other customers, slightly annoying at times, but you get used to it. Not many seats, so most people do a take away. Ive eaten here other times and taken food home. Their naans are really nice, the roasted fried whole chicken is really nice (perfectly spiced and moist), the nihari (lamb shank) is brilliant, the haleem is just as good and their curries ate OK. They dont seem to make fresh seekh kebabs. They don’t have a grill kitchen, so most of the food may be made off site or in the back, apart from the naan and fried fish (yet to try, but isin demand). Its always busy and food is good. Ive only given them 4* because don’t make fresh seekh kebabs or other grilled food, and because they warm up the food in a microwave (not something i normally like). Once i had to have their cold rice pudding as the curry was too spicy, the pudding was creamy, sweet and refreshingly lovely.
