This cafe is definitely the most affordable in the area, and probably the cheapest in all of London. A cup of tea only costs 70p (£1.50 in the high street), and the food is at least £3 to £10 cheaper than other cafes in the area. The portions are huge, making it difficult to finish your meal. I ordered the Bungalow Workman’s Special, which was piled high and too much for me to eat in one sitting. I felt embarrassed leaving food on my plate, so I took the leftovers home. The staff, especially the friendly and polite oriental girl, were really nice. This is the best cafe around! Additionally, the inside of the cafe is spotless.
Three hungry men had a satisfying meal of liver, chips, tomato, fried egg, and tea at this restaurant. The liver may have been slightly tough, but it was very flavorful and offered great value. The lady behind the counter and the serving staff were all wonderful. Highly recommended.
I wouldn't say the food was stunning, but it was absolutely fine, and as my title indicates, very good value for money. I had a fried egg (okay), 2 and a half rashers of bacon (exceptionally good), 2 hash browns (okay), for £4.95. What's not to like about that! Service was smiley and prompt. The actual cafe is a pleasant quiet space, tucked away off the High Street. Recommended.
I had a fry up in here today, worst food i have had in many years weatherspoons is better, and that is ****, I wont be back
