Gourmet Takeaway - Redcar and Cleveland

I arranged for a takeaway from this establishment for my son and his babysitter. The bill came to £9.50 and my son who is 10 didn't realise how much the bill was and gave the delivery driver £15, the driver didn't give my son any change or check it was OK to take a 5.50 tip!!! When I called the takeaway I was told the money would be returned to me, I waited and nothing so I rang back. The manager got very aggressive with me and said the driver refuses to give the money back (what sort of person feels comfortable robbing money from a 10 year old? , the management say it's nothing to do with them even though the driver is representing there business! I will not use this takeaway again let's face it there are plenty of others to choose from!

Gourmet takeaway WAS our go to friday night takeaway. Week in week out. Unfortunately it won't be any longer. Over time it has gone so downhill it's not worth the stress of ordering. Placing our order via phone at 6.30. Were told within the hour, fair enough on a busy sunday night, right? Food did not arrive until around 8.10. Despite phoning and being told it was on it's way. On arrival, we had no kids drink with our childrens meal and no pitta breads with our mixed kebab. How you forget pitta breads on a kebab I'll never know. Also recieved some sort of tikka sauce instead of the requested garlic. Phoned to complain about missing items. Were told they would be sent out straight away...we are still waiting for them to arrive. Mistakes happen and i can accept that. But unfortunately its happened time and time again and its just not worth being disappointed. Will spend our money elsewhere.

Over half an hour late, with no explantion after been told food would be ready within an hour of ordering. Pitta bread missing off a kebab order and drink missing from a children's meal. Completely different dips delivered as well. Promised they would deliver the missing items and still here waiting for them now. Disgusting customer service. Gone way down hill over these past months definitely won't be order again. They have lost another loyal customer.

Ordered through just eat , takeaway put my order back thirty minutes , and when arrived was cold !! first and last order

Ordered a large parmesan with salad to be delivered at 2020. They changed delivery to 2050. I phoned at 2100 to ask when it was going to be delivered. They said the next 10 to 20minutes. They cant cope with numerous orders but didnt have the decency to call their customers to say the food would be late. When it arrived at 2110 it was cold!! Whilst the food needed to be reheated the parmesan tasted nice. The chips were awful.
