Lingdale Tavern - Redcar

They no longer serve meals, and the beer is overpriced. The place has been closed since the lockdown. Following the passing of owner John Stonehouse last month, there’s uncertainty about whether it will reopen. It should have been converted into apartments a long time ago, and the Lounge Bar should never have shut down. It’s just been a large, pointless endeavor. If it does reopen, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time going there.

I just returned from a family gathering at The Tavern, and I must say, it was an excellent choice for the event. The function room is beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. The food was not only delicious but also plentiful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would certainly consider booking again for another party. Thank you for hosting us!

Eight of us went out to enjoy a meal from the Christmas menu, and it was fantastic! The food was all freshly prepared and delicious. James, our server, was incredibly polite and helpful throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend this place; the prices are very reasonable, and the pub is beautifully decorated.
