The only thing close to Lebanese about this place is probably the owners. The food is nowhere close to authentic Lebanese and the food is not even close to to other Lebanese restaurants. We ordered the meat platter and our first reaction was underwhelming for the size. The taste was average. The next dish was the chicken shawarma on a plate. This was absolute let down. The rice was plain jasmine rice ( Asian) and what appeared to be stir fried chicken. We couldn't complete the meal as it didn't taste good. We were excited to try this place and the prices on the menu seemed quite reasonable by Sydney standards and now we know why. The price compliments the food. As a Lebanese cuisine lover, this place was a let down.

I have been dining at Wilson's for over 30 years now and the food is both delicious and authentic. I used to live in the area, so have been to most of the Lebanese restaurants in Cleveland St and I've never had better food at any of them. If having swish decor is important then it may not be for you - the interior has remained essentially unchanged in all the time I've been going there -but if the deliciousness of the food is key, it's perfect. The fried cauliflower and chicken shwarma are superb and I recently tried an eggplant tomato dish which is a new favourite. Our family of five love it!

The service can be brusque here at Wilson's, but a restaurant doesn't survive for almost 60 years (with only two owners so far) without doing something right.The food is entirely predictable, and the wine list hasn't changed in a few years, but there's something homely and comforting about the place. The meat dishes probably shine brightest; the lamb kofta is mouth-wateringly good; and they do a great moist falafel.A good neighbourhood grazer. We pop in a few times a year, and probably always will.

Love the deco of this place, the food is always amazing, there's nothing to complain about, reasonable priced, the service is always efficient, the couple there are really helpful, my family been coming here for generations and still coming. It's best to dine here early, as it gets quiet busy. They have a great seafood menu, I wouldn't eat anywhere else.
