Definitely try their mille-feuille and chocolate éclaire
I was so disappointed today! I ordered their turkey sandwich and it was awful! The bread was stale and they gave me one slice of cold cut turkey. I took it up with the manager and instead of just apologizing she argued with me. She told me I should have come up sooner to complain about the sandwich because I had already eaten half the sandwich. Well I had left the bakery to eat the sandwich outside of the restaurant so I was going to let it go until I took a bite of the second half of the sandwich and noticed it was worse than the first half. But why argue with me, especially since I don't want your refund, I'm just letting you know so they can retrain their staff on how to make a sandwich. I doubt I will be returning soon!I was going to buy a whole cake for my party, but forget it now!
The Redmond French Bakery has been consistently solid compared against other similar restaurants in the region (e.g. both Farines, the other two French Bakeries). They are best for quick and easy pick-me-ups, not the best out there but very convenient, reliable, and well priced. From here I recommend the Coffee Swiss and Fresh Fruit Tart.
Ordered a veggie quiche a couple of days ago and it was so oily it nearly seeped through the paper plate. I 'm also perplexed by a cafe that 's trying to promote a certain quality but serving food in low quality paper plate and plastic cutlery. There are heaps of bad reviews if you choose to read lowest . More importantly, the owner is known for her temperament despite customers being understanding. The only saving grace of this cafe is no nearby competition location right at the heart of RTC and numerous parents waiting for the children to get out swimming, karate and Kumon. We need more Cafes to come in and compete for the customers.
