Subway - Redwood City

I really enjoy this specific restaurant, as the staff is always very friendly. The only drawback is that if you tip with a card, the restaurant doesn't give the full amount to the staff because they also have to pay taxes, so they take 20% of the tips. I believe tips are meant for the employees, not for covering taxes, so I always make an effort to tip them in cash.

Quick, flavorful, and sanitary. This place is where I always go for a delicious sandwich.

I used to enjoy coming to this restaurant, but today the worker complained when I asked for vegetables on my meatball sub. I have always had all sub places put whatever vegetables I want on my meatball subs, as it is just like any other sub. However, I guess because most people do not, the picture on their menu does not show vegetables clearly. I believe this is bad customer service!

On the occasions I've come in to pick up a sandwich, this location is always clean, food prep workers use gloves and they always get the order right. The ingredients are fresh and customer service is polite and fairly quick even when busy. This particularlocation has many transients in the area and at times in the store.
