The food was outstanding, with a fantastic variety to choose from. The Tarte Tatin stood out as a highlight. The service was both friendly and attentive. I only wish we lived closer so we could visit more frequently.

The serves were small including bread. The only good course was the fish. For the 3rd course I asked if the cheese plate included blue cheese, if it does I will pick something else. Came back that there was no blue cheese. You guessed it, there was blue cheese! I pointed it out and waiter said that was what he was told. I was expecting the cheese to be replaced, but NO. Someone or multiple people were lying. In addition the waiter asked numerous time was it good but he did not stay for an answer. NOT interested. I know they are students but is that what they are taught? Numerous time the waiter said sorry for being late! Compared to previous experiences here this was on the poor side.

Fine dining. Silver service. Run by the hospitality school at TAFE. Students will serve and cook for you. Our student was a little nervous but was competent attentive and lovely. The food was exquisitely presented and tasted superb. Proper table linen was lovely too

The food was fantastic, as always. It truly offers a five-star menu at pub prices. I enjoy meeting the wait staff, who are students, at the beginning of the season and witnessing their growing confidence by the end.
