Luna Rossa - Regensburg

We found this cosy Italian restaurant in a very narrow alley way, and rarely for an Italian restaurant, no pizza menu was offered, which suited us fine. The homemade pasta was delicious, the service very friendly and efficient, the price quite reasonable.

Wir waren zu zweit und haben das Luna Rossa zufällig entdeckt. Im gemütlichen Innenhof haben wir hervorragende Pasta gegessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

This restaurant continues to be one of our favorite places for my wife and myself. It's a quiet restaurant in the center of Regensburg offering a warm atmosphere a very helpful staff and an excellent selection of food. We have been several times and have always enjoyed our time there.

How I passed this place on a snowy morning is a mystery. That I looked it up and returned is providential. Intimate setting and good food (though they "German sized" the Ammatriciana). The service is not hurried as it should be. A little bit pricey but it's vacation! Down from Goliath its to the right of the Don Juan statue down the little alley. Give this place its due.
