The Grill Canteen - Regensburg

Service and speed was great, but the food was too expensive for quality. In addition, Pommes were there instead of sweets without that being mentioned.

That was my second visit to the GC. At my first I had a T-Bone Steak, medium rare. It was very good. But for good steak there are other addresses I prefer in Regensburg. Last time I had the grill plate. My roastbeef should be medium rare again. It was a disaster. Meat medium well. Better through. Very tough, meat quality medium. Spare ribbing completely personally not my taste, but you can neglect that. The chicken meat very juicy, but tastefully actually naked. The corn flask was fine. The dips you get weren't anything. I tried four. Chimichurri, honey bourbon, BBQ and ranch. All right. Tasteless. BBQ far from BBQ. I don't think anything about it. I had Chimichurri for the first time. I was recommended, but unfortunately my personal taste has not even met. Very oily, hardly suitable for dipping. All in all, a very disappointing visit to a place that I would have called after my first visit one of the best steak houses in Regensburg. I guess I won't come anymore.

Our visit to the Grill Canteen ended with two different pictures. On the one hand, really excellent meat quality and perfectly prepared steaks, on the other hand, an almost unacceptable service. We had to wait an hour for our food, the half hour until our order is received is of course still on top. Beverages were partly forgotten or served on request. In view of the rather lush prices, the service must definitely be improved.

It was just great the service was good! The food was just fantastic again and again I would go to eat there!! !

I was at the restaurant with a business partner. The food we had both Fillet was very tasty and roasted to the point as ordered. We were not satisfied with the service. First, the supplement salad was forgotten and only brought to demand, however, the main food was already almost ate. In addition, we had to order further beverages of coffee every time to get the service. Is everything okay? shortly after serving the main course we had to miss.
