Il Pozzo - REGGIO NELL'EMILIA

We were recommended Il Pozzo as one of only 2 authentic local cuisine restaurants in Reggio Emilia. We were not disappointed, the menu was a wide choice and included many local dishes and local ingredients. The staff speak excellent English and will take the time to explain the menu. This is a wonderful family run restaurant, that 90% of people would pass by without knowing what is behind the simple entrance doors. Great food, excellent wines and wonderful service. Great value too. Would visit again and again.

We had dinner on Friday and it was great and also the show while serving our meat was really great, we always love to come back when we are in R. emillia...

Very bad service. We asked the owner for an explanation on a prefixed price. He replied in an incredible rude way. He addressed racist comments to a black friend of ours, who was not even involved in the conversation. We will never come here again.

The restaurant is nice and we ate quite well. However, we expected much more from this place: not all menu was available and not even wines, very few alternatives to meat dishes and poor portions. sin.

One of the best restaurants in the Emilian reggio. in the center of the city. characterized by a particular location in a basement. the atmosphere of the room is intimate and comfortable. very well studied dishes and presented with original veneers. definitely the price is a little high for consumption, but the price quality ratio largely justifies the cost.
