I wish it was rice. The drinks here were great IMO, I loved the old fashioned. I think the place listened to the previous reviews because service was exceptional. Thank you for the great experience.
I brought my sister and brother-in-law here for dinner in early spring. We had reservations, which is essential in Rehoboth- especially during the season. Parking is a little difficult here as street parking is limited, though I dropped off my party and found a spot at the end of the road. My sister and I are Italian and my brother-in-law was born and raised in Rome, so we are very discerning about our Italian food. Sazio did not disappoint. The scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The cioppino was well balanced and flavorful with plenty of seafood. The linguine with clams was to my brother-in-law's liking. Overall the meal was very good. The service was pretty spotty, which seems to be the norm these days. Our waiter forgot many things and wasn't often available, forcing us to try to get the attention of any passing employee to order a drink, etc. Overall, the food was a solid 4.5. The service was a 3.5- so 4 for an overall score (I wish Google would enable half point scoring). I would definitely not hesitate to return to Sazio as the food was delicious and there were many options on the menu beyond just traditional Italian fare.
A decent experience, the caprese salad (tomato mozzarella) was delicious, and the kobe meatball was decent. The linguine and clams were very good, and the truffle creamed corn was terrific, but the veal piccata cutlet wasn't good, both the meal quality and the sauce were poor. Overall a decent experience but they're not the only place in town. The Zebra was a much better experience (the restaurant that was in the building prior).
Huge portions, good food, nice deck. Total win of a place but seriously the portions are redonk, you really don’t need an app entree, you can do salad and side and totally be good. Only gripe was the crab cakes were a little pedestrian could have got them at giant/Harris teeter, would have expected jumbo lump for $35 per dish. I will comeback and get a smaller order and maybe try a pasta.
Lovely interior, bright but restful/calming, and clean. Terrific service from Matt, the bartender. The menu offerings are varied and interesting. Everything we tried was hot and delicious and a generous portion. This is going to be our new favorite place! Big Fish Group does it again!
