We all ordered the full English breakfast and a bacon sandwich. The portions were very generous, well presented, and cooked to our liking. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be returning.

I have been coming to Beryl and Pegs several times a week for the last nine months or so as part of an exercise regime. During a difficult time for the hospitality business with limitations on access, wearing of face masks and other covid preventative...measures the staff have been unfailingly helpful, friendly, cheerful and , above all, efficient. Now reopened fully both upstairs and in a delightfully presented downstairs “bodega” style area the welcome is warm, friendly and quirky. Food, especially scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon, is delicious. Coffee, with smiley face, excellent. Yes, truly a home from home.

I enjoy the food at this restaurant, but the take-out service has deteriorated significantly. It should not take minutes to package a slice of frittata, and the staff should be knowledgeable about the items they are selling and ensure they are clearly labeled. During one unfortunate encounter, I pointed at a cheesy flan labeled as a brownie and asked the employee what it actually was, only to have them admit they did not know either. It is also common for customers to find items missing from their orders. Unfortunately, despite my desire to support local businesses, I will not be returning. The prices are not cheap and for what you pay, better service should be expected.

Visited here for the first time. It was absolutely amazing. Definitely the best sandwiches we have ever had! Excellent chicken bacon and avocado and delicious bread. Good quality ingredients. Excellent service.
