Brasserie Conti Reims

Restaurant recommended and reserved by hotel concierge. One of few higher end restaurants open on a Monday. Nice dining room with ample space between tables. Eclectic decor. Servers a little impatient to take order for wine from an extensive menu. Same with food. Vegetarian and two orders of scallops St Jacques. Scallops and tough leaks on plate. No color to dish and scallops slightly under cooked. Food ok but there were other restaurants in town a notch higher. Limited desert menu. Lukewarm on the experience.

The food here was exquisite, we ate here on the first night of our 5 day stay in Reims and this place set the bar extremely high. We sat outside and the waiting staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The recommended wines were on point and the flavours in every dish were amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the French cuisine experience.

Our last night in Reims, each of our previous 3 meals we rated 5/5. This meal is our 2nd worse ever in France behind Lyon... Our Server effectively took our order but did not check up again on us for 2.5 hours. She kept repeating the company mantra we are too busy tonight... The Manager does not speak English. The kitchen grossly under-staffed. It took 50+ mins to receive our 2nd course. No water re-fills or inquiry about additional wine.

I recommend for its location and staff reception

Very well served hotel since you are just outside the station. you can also access the restaurant easily which are just below. the restaurant is especially good at breakfast their champagne card is vast. if you are a lot do not hesitate to ask for their small living room
