Le Cardinal - Reims

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Cathedral of Reims. excellent food with excellent service. very reasonable price for such a downtown restaurant.

Small resto with terrace located near the cathedral, the smiling and very attractive bosses, we took a dish on the map: remoise peat (viande and a small slice of foie gras) accompanied by a green salad, very well I would have put excellent if the peat had been heated in the traditional oven because the dough was softened (damage,) my husband touring fish very good but the same problem of Then a plate of cheese 4.90€ for a well-copying restaurant and my husband tiramisu with red fruits and rose biscuits excellent 6€. overall rather satisfied

Mediocre kitchen. Lamentable service. we asked to take into account that we had a guided tour after, so 45 minutes for lunch, and I had to leave without eating the dessert that was otherwise paid with the formula. not a word from the server; I rarely saw that. The only positive point, the terrace. but reims is a very beautiful city and, precisely, filled with terraces and other restaurants where we had lunch and dinner had more than pleasant staff. That's why: pass your way.

One lunch in the week, we all opted for an express formula (plat dessert,) for which we must count a little month of 14 euros. We had the choice between two dishes and two desserts. For my part, I took some roast place with quinoa, it was very good and not too copyy, which makes me still had room for dessert. Speaking of this one I took the half-cooked shocko-cococo: very good as well. Small flat for strawberry ice, which didn't feel much...Concerning the place, the restaurant is located behind the cathedral, avoiding the noise and crowd of the square of Elon. Little more for our friendly waiter.

The service was pleasant, smiling waitress, the value ratio in the plates was nickel nothing to say it was impeccable
