Le QG - Reims

We arrived at the end of the lunch hour desperate for a good hot meal after a couple of difficult travel days. Luckily, the owner allowed us to have a table despite the lateness of the hour and recommended we order quickly before the cuisine closed. We hadn’t read anything about the cafe’s specialities so ordered the filet et frite. Wow! Were we impressed by the quality of the dish. Succulent boeuf without fat or gristle. Brilliant flavor too! And hand cut fries like I havent had in years. The owner said the meat and potatoes both come from the marketplace. The quality was amazing and at such a reasonable price! The service was great too. We’ll certainly be returning as soon as possible.

We stopped for late lunch. We enjoyed some super local beer and fois gras salad and local beef with chips. Super efficient service and great quality food

We stopped at this cafe for a light lunch. The Croque Madame served with fries or salad was excellent as was the beer and coffee. The service was fast and efficient and the staff friendly.

We called into this little bar for 2 glasses of Champagne on a Monday afternoon. The owner (I assume) was really friendly, telling us all about the producer Champagne (Moutard) that he had available by the glass. It felt like a locals' bar rather than a tourist place, which was just what we were looking for.

Nice session with a glass of wine and food in the afternoon / evening. There are many things to see (people, etc.). around you and the food was excellent value for money.
