Kingburger Drive In - Renfrew

Great burger and really nice folks working there. The order speaker could use a tune up as it reminded me of Charlie Brown's teacher in the Peanuts cartoons. They heard my order though, which I guess is all that counts! Burger was really juicy and had great flavour. The onion ring side was massive and crisp. Loved it!

We stopped there in the way to a camping site, the food was ok. The Poutine was delicious but the burger is too small. We ordered 3 regular burger meals and 1 kids meal, the size is exactly the same, the only difference is the fries portion.

I am obsessed with the food here. My daughters and I ordered the kingburger combo with a side of gravy. It was fast, food was hot. I love crinkle cut fries so I was excited-they didn’t disappoint. The fries were crispy and sooooo good. The burger was very-at home cooking taste. It was juicy and flavourful and I loved the onions. Now the shining star for me was the gravy ?. It is like a dark beef dip kind. I put some on the burger and it was phenomenal. We also had the chocolate milkshake. The taste was amazing but not as chocolatey as I would have liked, i can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. I will definitely be back.

It was like eating home cooked food, but beyond our own home cooking skills. Definitely glad we stopped here instead of some large chain. A+

A classic style drive thru. Regular fare, sauteed onions and 'King ' sauce an excellent extra to bring the food flavors up a notch. A well organized order/cook/pickup system. Not optimised for speed, be prepared to wait a bit in a line. A reminder of how individuals made traditions before people turned to corporate food experience.
