I'm not a fan of the western theme, but this pub is a great spot to grab a few drinks on the way home. I often stop in with my dad for a couple of pints in Paisley.
We are on a road trip in the UK arrived in Paisley, Scotland. I looked on Trip Advisor for a good pub not too far from our hotel there's one called The Alamo being that we are from Texas we just had to go. Very friendly folk there. Lots of fun. Local people that love to go to Bandera TxX to a dude ranch. We hung around for a couple of hours. The had a few sandwiches but nothing more in the way of food. We had fun danced the 2 step to show them how. We will visit again before we leave. It was very welcoming friendly. But don't count on it for a meal.
Excellent pint and hospitality at the alamo bar, can spent ages looking at the decor every item tells a story. Excellent for last pint before seeing your team at St mirren park. One of my favourite pubs in Paisley
I just had to share my thoughts! I frequently visit the Glasgow area, and this pub is a fantastic spot to enjoy a few pints and their famous free pies before Saints football games. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable, especially with the complimentary pies. The decor has a quirky faux Confederate style (it might even be one of the last places to display the Rebel flag), but overall, it’s a fun atmosphere. It’s not upscale, but the friendliness makes up for it. If you're in the area, make sure to check out The Alamo and Paisley; they’re worth a visit beyond the typical tourist spots!
