I love the burgh bar, I move from north of Ireland and made me feel so welcome. the workers have made me so much in the pass 8 years I was moving and long life friends. should have made this review years ago. so hopefully it helps others and great craic and good.
I have immersed a few cheeky wee pints before I get back the bus from paisley to glasgow after I visited an old friend. I was pleased to see the mcewans 70/ and 80/ beer on tap available that I could add were very nice in the did. also a series of other alcoholic beverages to choose from such as lagers, spirituoses, etc. beautiful vaulted deck and a half decent owal shaped oak bar and pool table area. from the locals who drink at the bar on the way to the plough, they went friendly enough. but! one of the masses must 'let the poor simply fall before I came by and almost melt my face! I could say from the whip that the man baked one and saved it until they came home. (I try to avoid the use of pub toilets for number 2s also) no one at the bar seemed to hit an eye cover of the terrible stalk that cleaned the air around it. they must serve this bloating every day. apart from that, it seems good pub
Good bar was not long there, but had good feeling about it
Good wee bar. Love the layout and the staff are all welcoming and friendly. Good place for musicians too as the have a stage space there right next to the bar. The selection of drinks is good for it and well priced
