We were obliged to ask for our dessert because it was 25 minutes that we had finished lunch, it was brought to us but without the table being discarded. good value quality price but didn't go there if you're in a hurry
Very nice place, homey atmosphere, service is easy and kind. Tartines are peculiar and big! Had a very good foi gras and an excellent broth.
L’Épicerie Le Bistrot à Tartines is a wonderful spot for lunch or a coffee and cake. The bistrot’s atmosphere is nostalgic, supported by the old photos of the ancestors of the owner ? , and the terrace among the wattle-and-daub houses makes you feel of pre-WW2 times. Lovely. Food is mostly home-made, authentic and good. Staff is very friendly and quick in their service.
Stopped for lunch on Sunday. Bistro (l'epicerie) was busy and vibrant. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch which was very reasonable priced. Great friendly waiter too. Would recommend as a lunch venue.
Living in the area I have tried l'épicerie several times. The food is ok, but the service is consistently long. Today we were ignored for fifteen minutes on a relatively empty terrace, tried going to the bar only to be told that service was at the table and someone was coming to take our order, another five minutes later we finished by leaving (no one noticed). Probably won't be back.
