Sometimes I would get deli food and bring it into the bar, other times I would order meals. Always tasty stuff here. Owner, Klaus, has a bit of a reputation in Reno but I assure you that the food is great and the people who work there are really nice. Even if they come off a little 'stern '. That 's the best way I can describe it.DO go to Bavarian World and take in the Kitsch! And don 't forget to pick up rolls, chocolate, mustards, and other imported goods in the deli.
Authentic Bavarian Food and Beer!. Bavaria World is a hidden gem in Reno. Although the actual venue is dated and a bit kitschy, the food is outstanding and authentic. Everything from shcnitzel, bratwurst, spatzel as well as authentic german beer on tap! My favorite reno restaurant!
This was my third or fourth visit to this restaurant, and it never fails to impress. The atmosphere is genuinely inviting, complete with a lively dance floor. The staff is both friendly and well-informed. As for the food, it's the best I've encountered on this side of the Atlantic. They also have a fantastic grocery store where you can stock up on goodies. If you live in the area, make sure to add this place to your list of regular spots. And if you're just passing through, it’s a perfect stop just off the freeway!
Unique and exceptional! The food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and it’s a true northern Nevada original. It's an ideal spot for families and children. Plus, there's a wonderful shop and one of the best bakeries in Reno right next door. I give it my highest recommendation!
