Genghis Grill - Reno

I use to love this restaurant but the last couple years it keeps getting worse. Today my family and received are drinks. I?m a very patient guy and understanding of all the obstacles as my mom was a waitress, cook and owner. So we waited for about ten minutes then we were informed we were being stalled to let the grill catch up. I figured at least the guy was honest. Another couple came in and sat next to us ordered there drinks figured they would have to wait as well but there waitress brought there bowls rite away. We waited another ten minutes then I told her what the other waiter told me and she ran to the cook which talked to the waiter. I could tell he was mad avoiding any drama I decided it was time for us to leave. On the way out the door the cook said Thankyou have a good day. Across the street my wife noticed a Huckleberries which took us in and took care of us with a smile.

I ordered my food on the app. I entered my shellfish allergy in the box and it came home with shrimp in it! I took a bite before I noticed and my tongue had started tingling. I called the restaurant and was told the way it printed it looked like you wanted shellfish added. It 's not my fault how it prints. I answered the question. Nobody says add shellfish to my bowl. It would have said shrimp or something specific. My phone number was attached to the order and should have been contacted if there was confusion. I 'm lucky I wasn 't hospitalized due to this incident.

As an advocate of fine dining and good food, this place is totally false advertised online. The price is on the menu were wrong, their selection to build a bowl was very small and nasty almost walked out once I saw the assortment I was to choose from. The service was terrible and the whole restaurant was filthy go somewhere else. $80 for two people not including beverages just all you can eat because I left a generous tip since I have been in the service industry so many years I felt bad for the staff.

Yesterday we visited this restaurant and the food was delicious, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. The tables were dirty as we walked past them and there was only one female server on staff.

Lunch at a restaurant in South Reno on a Sunday afternoon. I really enjoyed being able to choose my base (I went with Udon Noodles) and add whatever toppings I wanted.
