Mario's Portofino - Reno

I am a chef. I find this to be one of my favorite local Italian restaurant I been to in a long time. Food is amazing and definitely be my new joint to go toFood: 4/5

This place is going on our list of Italian restaurants. My fettuccine Alfredo wasn't the best I've had, but it was good. Hubbies baked canniloni was awesome, loved the marinara, but wish there was more of it. Service was excellent and ambiance was great.Parking: Parking lot is a one way loop, but plenty of parking.

We were there for a memorial service for a friend. The atmosphere us awesome the food that was prepared was perfect. Everyone was awesome. Very impressed we plan on going to dinner next week.Food: 5/5

Service was good and clean.Came to the spot based on a recommendation that it was the “best Italian” in Reno. Found it to be rather plain and was underwhelmed. It was just fine, not memorable.Vegetarian options: Yes.

Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Service, food and atmosphere was wonderful. So were the prices! Will be back on our next trip through Reno.Food: 5/5
