Millies24 - Reno

I’ve always enjoyed a good Flatiron steak or Hangar steak, and Millie's did not disappoint. The aromas were incredible and mouthwatering. While the presentation of the dish could have been a bit neater, the flavors were fantastic.

Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, which was a plus. The following morning, I ordered breakfast—two eggs with bacon. It was served hot and tasted great. Unfortunately, our waitress, while appearing friendly, brought me the wrong breakfast order and didn’t check back to see if I needed anything else. She just dropped off the check for me to pay at the counter. The atmosphere at the register felt rather unfriendly, as if the staff were just going through the motions, and there was no expression of gratitude. A lot has changed in the past two years—menu items, and some employees who don’t seem very interested in providing good service. Overall, my experience was not as great as I remembered.

For my meal, I ordered the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, and the Jamaican Jerk Chicken. The salad was expertly prepared with just the right amount of dressing. The Brussels sprouts absorbed the sauce beautifully and had a fantastic roasted flavor that added a delightful sweetness. The Jamaican Jerk Chicken was sensational—perfectly charred on the outside while remaining soft, juicy, and tender on the inside. In total, I spent just over $60 for all three dishes, which were generous portions that made every penny worth it! The next time I'm in Reno, I’ll definitely return to Millies24!

Service was excellent. Marie took good care of me. I had steak and eggs, medium rare and light. Great presentation. I enjoyed breakfast. Forget to make a picture. I wouldn't get the fruit bowl back. I didn't have the choice. My cappuccino was perfect. Overall great experience for Marie.

Whenever I go to Reno this is our go to brunch spot. Typically our go to is chicken fried steak and eggs and waffles. Haven't really had anything we didn't like. This most recent trip we had the breakfast tacos so flavorful and has a kick that will clear your nose up. Also, had the Jorge flamin scramble. Wasn't too bad but I highly recommend the tacos.
