I am very sad to see this great place close by. my wife had for the first time her eier benediked and she said they were the best she ever had. I had the sponge, pancakes and eggs, as always the pancakes were perfect and the eggs were cooked exactly as I wanted them. I'm not a big bacon eater, but you're very good. my wife also ordered a latte and said it was one of the best she ever had. as I said, it's sad to see this place. it is such a great atmosphere with the man and the woman owner going around to talk with their customers and enjoy all patronage. if they want a piece of remembrance, this week they sell all the loading items, but Friday is the 29th her last day.
We are lucky to live close to the Wet Hen Cafe. It is one of our favorite places to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is amazing and friendly. The food is excellent with a wide variety of specialty creations. I recommend you give it a try. You won’t be sorry.
The only reason I didn't give the 5, because it's little bit pricey. For a late and 2 eggs 1 small sausage 2 bacon
Immediately upon entering this cozy nook I was greeted with a smile and the question of take out (where you'd be directed to comfy looking chairs after ordering) or dine in and a number is placed on a table for you before ordering. The menu ranges from breakfast to lunch: omelettes, quiche, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Artistic menu names, in house baked goods, and even more smiles and laughter behind the counter. The sandwiches were delicious, the clam chowder thick and warm on a sunny wintry day, and the oatmeal cranberry white chocolate cookie very tasty. We look forward to going back and trying the quiche soon.
