Above Bolzano or Bozen in the Italian Dolomites there is the Ritter plateau ideal for wonderful views, walking and enjoying lovely countryside. Across the plateau runs a little tramway called the Ritterbahn. At the Klobenstein terminus, just across the yard from the depot is this small oasis of refreshment. There are other larger places a bit further away but for a refreshing hot chocolate and a nice sandwich conveniently next to the station platform this is the place. Sit outside if the weather is warm.
