Golden Peacock - Renton

The tea was quite good. The food went down from there. Very American style Chinese food which I don't mind if it's good but it was not. The wonton soup was okay at best and the combo dinner was disappointing. I didn't even bother wasting calories on the fried prawns (almost all breading) and the chow mein. Tried them and decided it was not worth it. Will not be returning.

We love the golden peacock! Their sweet and sour pork and pork fried rice are two of our all-time favorites! Their fortune cookies are also amazing! This is easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in King County, and definitely the best in Fairwood!

Delicious food! My Mom said this was probably the best Chinese food she's ever eaten! Shrimp Egg Foo Young Golden Peacock special fried rice Asparagus and beef Highly recommend!

We had the Diamond dinner for 2. It was all good except for the beef tomato. The noodles were way under cooked. They were much better when we heated up the leftovers the next day!

Honestly the restaurant it self is very authentic. We thought it was going to be amazing with the prices. Everything was over loaded with celery I picked most of it off and it filled the soup bowl... and everything else was drowned in this thick brown sticky sauce. Our tummies were turning all night. Serve was great but the food was not very good.
