Ivar's Seafood - Renton

I was very excited to visit the Ivar's, reminiscing childhood memories. But was met with nothing but disappointment in their food. Fish is more like a fish stick rather than filet of fried cod as I remembered. And clam chowder was watery and had to fish for clams. Clam chowder less clams just a chowder...and a super watery one at that. All this for $25! Ivar's you need serious quality control. Very disappointed.

Very kind staff. The cashier accidentally put in the wrong order, and we didn't realize until we got home. But we came back, and they fixed the order no questions asked. Super nice. One of my favorite clam chowders!

Ivar's always impresses! It has the best fried food I've ever tasted! Kid-friendliness: There’s a playground for the kids! Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to access.

A fantastic spot for Fish and Chips, offering a lovely view of Lake Washington... *IF* you can manage to find a parking space!

Prices go up, food portions do not. It's Ivar's so the food is excellent, but disappointed in the small serving for nearly $15/person. Great location on the water with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of free parking. Parking: Parking can be a challenge at peak periods. Otherwise you can find a spot easily.
