Kami Teriyaki - Renton

In just 10 minutes, I received my food, which was hot and delicious, all from a very clean establishment. They even took the time to make their restroom nice, which shows they take pride in their business. I’ll definitely be back to try some other items on the menu!

The food here is quite good, though the prices are a bit on the high side, similar to many other places these days. However, I’m giving this review three stars primarily because I hope the owner will consider investing in a proper phone system. The current phone setup is problematic and frequently fails. On several occasions, I’ve had to drive to the restaurant just to place a takeout order, which is a waste of my time. When I mention to the staff that I’ve been calling for 20 minutes and that their phone isn’t working, they just smile and shrug it off. Please, Kami Teriyaki, if you value your customers' time, invest a little more each month in a phone system that actually works!

I'm not sure how this place earned a 4.5 rating; that's the only reason I decided to give it a try. The chicken was definitely not charbroiled—it tasted like it came from a regular pan, prepared by someone who didn't have a clue. It was overpriced and disappointing. I ended up throwing away most of my meal. I won't be returning, that's for sure.

I'm going to update my review after having some good interactions with Kami. While I still wish they'd update their phone system to something reliable, the staff and owner(s) are nice and they really do care about their customers. The food is great, the service is fast, and I'll continue to be a customer.
