Feedback gevenGreat sushi option if you're craving sushi between 12-5 when most other sushi places are closed. I went here twice, ordered the same entreé, and enjoyed it both times, but I was confused because what they served was slightly different.I ordered the Sashimi lunch and the first time, it didn't come with rice or octopus. The second time I ordered it, I got rice and one piece of octopus. Though the fish was really good, I wish it was more consistent!The bento box overall was nothing extraordinary, not amazing but overall a solid option regardless (still good).I would still return for the great food, friendly staff, and clean environment! I'll probably try something different next time though.

Ordered on Doordash. The sushi was mediocre, uninspired. The crispy rice roll was rather unappealing. Many of the rolls were ruined with spicy Mayo. If everything has spicy Mayo on it, then everything tastes the same. The sushi rice was dry and flavorless. Whatever happened to depending on good techniques and good ingredients to make good sushi. I was so disappointed after reading such glowing reviews. I wasted over $200 on sad sushi.
I got takeout on Saturday night that included a bento order with tonkatsu. The katsu was chewy. We assumed it was just overcooked until 3/4's of the way through some plastic film came out from underneath the breading. We inspected the rest of the katsu and it looked like the entire thing was covered in plastic, so we'd already eaten most of it.My partner threw up; at this point we had already eaten a lot of the other food, which included another bento box and two sushi rolls. I called the restaurant to report, and at no point did the employee, A e, sound shocked or concerned that they had just served an entire fillet wrapped in plastic.Honestly it felt like she either didn't recognize this as a disgusting health concern or didn't believe me (she didn't even want to see the photos/video I took of me peeling the film out of the katsu). So it's no wonder that she only offered a refund on the bento box. I tried to respond and she talked over me for a solid 10 seconds.She did eventually offer a full refund, but this was an incredibly frustrating experience. I want to emphasize that this is a one-off experience and not a complaint of the food in general.
One of the best hidden gems. We have been frequenting this spot for years now. It’s been really cool to see how much they have improved the interior design. But the fish has remained top quality and absolutely delicious. I really love a crispy rice roll with spicy tuna on top and find it hard to find a good one but sushi today makes the best. I also love their mix of mango and salmon in their double salmon roll. We couldn’t love this place more. The staff is kind and so friendly to our 1.5 year old. Annie the waitress always greets us by name and brings my daughter her own plate and fork and makeshift sippy cup. All the sushi chefs are always smiling and kind. This place is truly the best. And I’m a picky sushi person! 5 stars for sure
