The menu featured a runny egg theme, with both the appetizer and salad incorporating runny egg. The lamb, which was supposed to be tender and falling off the bone, was actually tough and required a sharp knife to cut. The steak was very fatty, with only a small portion being edible. Despite arriving at 5pm, we left by 7pm still feeling hungry and having spent a significant amount of money.
I visited this restaurant for the second time. The pork chops were amazing the first time, as well as the dessert menu. However, this time I ordered the NY Prime Steak and it was not as good as I had hoped. The dessert menu had changed and the descriptions were misleading. I ordered the profiteroles (10) expecting a pastry with ice cream inside, but what I received was definitely not a traditional profiterole. Despite this, we plan to give the restaurant another try in the future in hopes of a better experience. The staff was wonderful and attentive, and the view and location make it worth a visit.
Everything was great, we sat early and the food was delicious. The only return was that the bar that made the drinks took so long to make all our food come before the first round of drinks.
We went to the Thanksgiving menu and were blown away from everything. The Christmas meal? Not so much. They had a casual egg theme so that the appetizer and salad included runny egg. The lamb was described as falling off the bone. It was very hard and had to be cut out of the bone with a sharp knife. Steak was 3/4 fat. All in all, sat at 5:00, left at 7:00. Was still hungry and a lot of money out.
Nice view. Perfect ambience. Very good food. The attentive staff.
